New Doctor and my nerves

This week we've been battling a cold. Its a nasty little bug let me tell you. I felt as though my head was going to explode.

After 2 days we were feeling a bit better, but still not the greatest. Well all but Jay. Poor baby. Hers went down into her chest. I called made same day appointment with the new doctor. He came me some meds and upped the breathing treatments.

This being only the 2nd time we've seen the man, I was nervous. Ok nervous doesn't even begin to describe it. I was to the point of driving back home so she could go see her old doc.

I felt bad for feeling like this. I was afraid my feelings or actions would offend the new doc, and well we don't want to start off a relationship with the man by offending him.

So after talking to a few friends, both online and offline, I gave in and called the old doctor. When he called me back he told me my feelings were normal. He also asked for the number of the new doctor so he could call and talk to him. He did reassure me that what the new doc prescribed was perfect, which calmed my nerves some.

Normally switching doctors after a move doesn't take much effort. But when you have a child that has serious health problems, it becomes so much more serious and nerve wracking. I'm just thankful that we've found such great doctors, both back home and here.
