Sight Words and MP3 Players

The girls each got one of these and a few extras to go with them. I mainly bought them so they could listen to Hannah Montana and not drive mommy insane. However I found a new use for them. The girls recently discovered that they can record their voices on the computer. So I've put this new found excitement and the mp3 player to good use. They each take turns spelling each one of their sight words. Words like, in, on, they, you, me, we, you get the point. Then we put these files onto the mp3 player and put it on shuffle. This has helped alot as far as learning to spell the words. Now don't get me wrong, this isn't the only way they learn, this is just those learning without realizing it type things. We also play memory match with the sight words, bingo, go fish, and old maid with the sight word cards I made up.
